  5. Pass the closed-track test — after the course and at least one month on your Class 6R — then hold the Class 6A learner's licence for at least 11 months (no riding midnight to 5 a.m., no passengers, zero alcohol, no high-risk motorcycles).
  6. Pass the road test. If you don't hold a Class 5, you then hold a probationary licence for 24 months: fewer than four demerit points, zero alcohol and no high-risk motorcycles.
